It is indeed a matter of great pleasure and honour for me to be elected as the President of Guwahati Management Association in it’s Annual General Meeting held on 21st February 2021. After being a Vice-President for 4 years and Advisor for 2 years it is a privilege to occupy the Presidentship of the organisation. GMA is fortunate that many talented and highly experienced persons in their respective fields of work have joined as members which will undoubtedly enhance quality of membership. It is a matter of pride that of late, GMA has been able to enroll overseas members from places like Hong Kong and in the U S A.

Being affiliated to All India Management Association (AIMA) GMA conducts various programmes, seminars, workshops etc., to promote and propagate scientific management in corporates and other entities in collaboration with AIMA. One such flagship programme is Shaping Young Minds (SYMP) for students. GMA on its own has been also organizing its own flagship program viz : Annual Manager’s Competition amongst managerial professionals from corporate entities, besides other seminars, symposiums, workshops etc. for the promotion of management culture from time to time.

I hope with the active cooperation of all our members, GMA will reach greater heights in fulfilling its core objectives in coming months and years.
