Award Cermony Of Best Manager Competition held on 20th.September,2013

Guwahati Management Association organized its annual flagship event the award ceremony of Best Manager Competition 2013 on 20th September in Hotel Rajmahal Guwahati at 6:00 PM. A panel of Juries Constituted with Dr. Anil Goswami, former Principal of Cotton College as Chairman, Prof. DrSangitaTripathi, Dean NERIM, Maj. General(Retd.) P N Das, Psychiatrist and Er.Birinchi Kumar Sarma, Retd. Executive Director IOCL(AOD), Digboi, earlier selected 6 (Six) managers for award out of 26 participants from corporates like OIL India . IOCL Digboi, ASEB, NEDFI, EMAMI etc.

The President Award from Guwahati Management Association was awarded to Ms.ShyamaTrivediLahkar, of APGCL for her excellent performance.

Mr. UllasKamathJoint MD of Jyothy Laboratories Ltdwas the the chief guest , and the Guest of Honour was Mr. P.K.Dutta, IAS (Retd.) former Chief Secretary Govt. of Assam .

Mr. D.N. Baruah , President GMAdelivered his welcome speech. The Chief Guest Mr. UllashKamath, the Guest of honour inaugurated the ceremony by lighting the ceremonial PanchPradwip with chanting of Ganesh Shotra. Mr. P.K.Dutta delivered his inspiring speech and declared opened the Award ceremony 2013.Prof. Dr. Anil Goswami, Chairman of panel of Jury introduced the panel of jury and also explain the methodology followed in selection of 6 best managers. The Chief Guest and Guest of Honour handed over the Certificates and the Gift Hamper donated by MrSatinderAnandin the memory of his father Late O P Anand, founder member of GMA.

MrS.B. Sarma, HonyGen. Secretary, placed secretarial report of the various activities of GMA .ErHareswarTalukdar offered Vote of Thanks. The meeting ended with National Anthem.
