Mr.S.B.Sarmah, President, Guwahati Management Association welcomed the gathering. He spoke about the role AIMA and LMAs can play in spreading awareness about Health Care. He had also spoken about the upcoming Golden Jubilee Year of the Guwahati Management Association.

Mr. Rajeev Khurana, Founder Trustee of Lung Care Foundation extensively demonstrated the harmful effect of the polluted environment we are living in, mostly in cities. He had shown through power point presentation, how PM 2.5 molecules are being inhaled by humans thousands of times every day and how the deposits are left in the lung. Expressing apprehension about the health of the future generation unless something was done to tackle the menace, he also elaborated about the necessity of oxygen intake and proper breathing.

Ms M.P.Shetty, Director Lung Care Foundation, also spoke on similar lines.

Mr.O.P. Dahima, Director GMA offered the vote of thanks at the end of the session .
