Mr S B Sharma , President, Guwahati Management Assn: welcomed the guests, faculty members and students present. Also the V C of the University Dr P K Mishra spoke abut the importance of such symposiums and knowledge exchanges.

Mr D Moulik from MCX, the largest Commodity Exchange in India had explained about commodity exchanges works and also the advantages of investment in commodities. He had also explained about investor protection laws.

Mr Abhijit Dey of the Unit Trusts of India also very clearly explained about various funds operating in the country, , and how merits of the funds should be examined.
