A monthly meeting was organised by GMA, Guwahati which had a talk on above theme , where Mr. Parag Phukan presented the usefulness and about ill effects of mobile phone.
In a lucid elaboration Mr. Phukan described how today we cannot live without cell phone . He highlighted various commercial, educational, business and financial transactions that take place through cell phone. Also the ill effects of addiction to cell phone were demonstrated . In an interesting way Mr. Phukan described how the younger generations were being affected by the addiction.
The meeting also welcomed three new members to the GMA fold . Mr. D Gohain Acting President GMA summed up the discussions with a few examples of use of cell phone effecting our daily lives.
