Joint Programme with AIMA : Shaping Young Minds (SYMP)

For the first time the SYMP programme was organised outside Guwahati in the North Eastern Region, at Shillong. The event was held jointly with AIMA and in partnership with School of Commerce, Management & Library Science of the NEHU University, Shillong and was sponsored by the North Eastern Council, Shillong and Oil India Ltd.

This was the first time that a big management programme was organised in a North Eastern State capital outside Guwahati and the response from student community and faculty members was overwhelming. The event was successful in broadening the image and activities of GMA , AIMA and its associates.

The event was inaugurated by Chief Minister, Meghalaya, Mr Conrad Sangma in the presence of Mr V. Srivastava Vice Chancellor of NEHU . Mr.S.B. Sarmah, President, GMA welcomed the gathering and Mr.D.Gohain, Vice President, GMA offered vote of thanks.
