Name of event: Seminar on “Careers for a Digital Tomorrow”

The seminar was organized jointly with International Institute of Advanced Studies (IIAS) Kolkatta for the benefit of BBA , BCA ,MCA etc students to enhance their awareness about the opportunities lying within the ambit of the applied digital field . The seminar was well attended by about 150 students from front line Universities and Educational Institutes having faculties like BBA , BCA , BSc (Stats/Maths) etc. Professor Saikat Sen of IIAS , Kolkatta elaborated about the new digital platform that has engulfed the market place in recent times and about the employment avenues available and also the employment skills it demands.

Earlier , Mr Bhabesh Hazarika , Hony. General Secy. GMA welcomed the student participants , faculty members from different educational institutions and others attending the seminar . Mr S B Sarmah , President GMA also addressed the gathering and expressed the hope that the seminar will be beneficial to the career growth of the students . The seminar concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr D Gohain , Vice President GMA.
