Worshop on Integral Management
Two workshop were organized by Guwahati Management Association in collaboration with Sri Aurobindo Foundation for IOntegral Management (SAFIM) Puducherry will start from 1st November , 2010 at 10.00am. and continue till 4th November, 2010 st the auditorium of National Institute of rural Development , Khanapara with two topic
- Corporate Governance through Consciousness on 1 & 2 November and
- Achieving Productivity targets without Anxiety on 3rd & 4th November , 2010.
Integrating Indian thought, culture and heritage research with modern scientific package used worldwide, a new model for use in Indian environment was demonstrated by theories , case studies , group discussion by experienced prof. Sri Saikat Sen with many years in International Institute of business management and Ms. Smita Gupta in the field of education and business management and senior associates of SAFIM stationed at Delhi. The model was already deliberated in other metros of the country which got very good response. This is the first time , the model was deliberated in North East. The underlying principle was to harness the full potentiality of the individual at workplace in addition to his knowledge and skill to effectively achieve the goal.
This was a good opportunity for the regional management aspirants of all sectors , teachers, faculties , researchers , professors, industry captains, to participate and take away the best of it for use in their respective workplace .
Response from different institutes and Government was very wide and nearly 80 participants joined this 4 days long workshop.
The programme was inaugurated by Sri Ashok Dutta, Director of newest Indian Institute of Management (IIM) in Shillong.
Sri Shantikam Hazarika , Director of Assam Institute of Management (AIM) was the guest of honour . Sri D.N. Barua, President GMA ahd welcomed the participants and guest in the inauguration ceremony and explained the theme of the workshop. Sri Satinder Anand gave the vote of thanks.
