15TH Managers Competition.

Guwahati Management Association organised the 15th Managers Competition which is an annual event , at Red Contemporary Dinning restaurant, Guwahati. . Participants from different Corporates viz: Oil India Ltd(OIL), BCPL, Indian Oil Corpn. Ltd (IOCL) Guwahati, IOCL Digboi, Assam Power Distribution Company Ltd (APDCL) Assam Petrochemicals Ltd (APL) Numaligarh Refinery Ltd( NRL) etc. took part. Mr Swapnanil Barua IAS(Retd.) was the Chairman of the jury. Prof (. Dr.) Sangeeta Tripathi, Director NERIM Group of Institutions , Guwahati and Mr. Varunuday Sharma ED ( Retd. ) Oil India Ltd were the other jury members. Performance of most of the participants were very good. Initially there was a half hour inaugural session where President of GMA , Mr Subha Brata Sarmah welcomed the participants and the members of the jury. Mr. B K Duari Vice President of GMA , introduced the members of the jury. Mr. Parag Phukan , Director (GMA) conducted the program and also offered the vote of thanks.

The winners of the competition were:
1st. Mr. Tridiv Hazarika of Oil India Ltd
2nd. Mrs. Niharika Kakoti of BCPL
3rd. Mr. Dinesh Brahma of NRL

Besides the above winners , Jury’s special awards were also given to the following participants for their respective well performances , namely Ms Manjusha Kashyap of Guwahati Refinery (IOCL) and Mr Rupranjan Kalita of APDCL , Guwahati .
