Theme :Investing in Teenage Girl

The 53rd Shaping Young Minds Programme (SYMP) was held at Guwahati in collaboration with Guwahati Management Association at the ITA Centre, Machkhowa, and Guwahati on September 02, 2016 with a daylong agenda – starting from 09.30 a.m. to 05.00 p.m.

The speakers who addresses the audience include Mr R Gopalakrishnan,Former Director, Tata Sons & Past President AIMA, Mr Prabhu Chawla, Editorial Director, The New Indian Express Group, Ambassador Deepak Vohra, Veteran Diplomat, Dr.Nomal Ch. Bora : The Founder and Chairman and Managing Director of Guwahati Neurological Research Centre and most successful entrepreneurs of Assam.

The programme envisage to help young people synchronize personal and career goals through exposure to experience and wisdom of successful people. The idea is to facilitate student to get an opportunity to listen icons/ achievers with whom they will further interact to clarify their understanding. The icons shall tell stories of their lives highlighting problem and challenge they faced and success and failures. The program aims at helping them manage their career expectation and join their careers armed with confidence, experience and zest.

Guwahati Management Association lined up 1000 youths under 30 years age group belonging to different professional sectors of the economy to give exposure to four nationally and internationally distinguished leaders with different professions,
